Is a medical condition and this happens when someone has body fat or excess weight and this could affect his or her health. A doctor must determine a high body mass index (BMI) if the patient has obesity.

But what is body mass index (BMI)? Doctor’s often uses a tool to determine if the patient is on his/her appropriate weight, depending on age, sex and height, this measurement height and weight is combined
A very high risk on developing serious health conditions like, some types of cancer, arthritis and metabolic syndrome, this leads to, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

Losing weight through a diet, maintaining healthy weigh reduces or prevents obesity. A patient may need surgery, in some cases.

Why obesity happens:

Are you consuming too many calories?

If you’re consuming more than enough calories, your body will store extra calories as fat, this leads to obesity and overweight.

Avoid consuming:

  • Fried food
  • Some dairy products
  • Fast food
  • Meals with added sugar, cookies or branded cereal
  • Anything containing hidden sugar, like ketchup
  • High in carb or processed food, like bread
  • Processed meats
  • Sweetened juices, alcoholic drinks and soda

Sedentary habits:

  • Staying at home playing video games
  • Using your car instead of walking or using cycling
  • Spending too much time sitting in an office
  • Lack of sleep
  • Avoid high-fructose corn syrup
  • Using medications that gains weight
  • Hard to lose weight, self-perpetuating
  • High food intake
